Founded by Mr. Mao Geping, a renowned Chinese makeup artist in July 2000, Mao Geping Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Mao Geping Company") features two major beauty brands,i.e. MAOGEPING and LOVE KEEPS, as well as MAOGEPING Beauty Education. Mao Geping Company currently staffs over 4000 employees, nearly 90% of whom are female. It is registered and headquartered in Qianjiang New City, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, with a registered capital of RMB245 million.
Mr. Mao Geping is hailed as the first Chinese makeup artist to create cosmetics brands. Staying committed to shaping Chinese premium beauty brands, Mao Geping Company, joined by the laboratories in Italy, Switzerland, and other countries, has been working on a range of color cosmetics, skincare products, and makeup tools. MAOGEPING follows a direct sale strategy, as of June 31, 2025, we have established 405 self-operated counters and 32 counters of dealers in 120 cities across the country, with over 3,100 professional beauty consultants on board. Since 2019, the brand has been recording consistent high-growth sales performance thanks to its expanding online footprint on Internet channels and e-commerce platforms such as Tmall, Douyin, and JD.com.
The MAOGEPING brand draws inspiration from traditional Chinese culture in product research and development, and seamlessly integrates domestic premium cosmetics with Chinese cultural heritage to imbue the brand with a distinct identity and perfectly communicate the oriental aesthetics with Chinese features. .In 2019, authorized and joined by the Cultural and Creative Institute of the Palace Museum (故宫文创), the brand launched the “Eastern Aura Elegance (气蕴东方)” collection of color cosmetics for five seasons. Driven by its dual strengths in makeup services and brand influence, Mao Geping Company has embarked on a "sports and beauty" journey. In 2008, led by Mr. Mao Geping, we served as the makeup artists for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics Games, providing makeup and styling services to over 10,000 performers and receiving high praise from Mr. Rogge, then President of the International Olympic Committee. In 2021, through rigorous evaluation, Mao Geping Company signed sponsorship agreements and licensed production and retail agreements with the Asian Games Hangzhou Organizing Committee in July, November, and December, becoming the first beauty brand in Asian Games history with licensed production rights. In August 2022, Mao Geping Company unveiled the first licensed Asian Games beauty collection - “Eastern Aura Elegance: A Tribute to the Asian Games” - developed in collaboration with the Asian Games Hangzhou Organizing Committee. In 2022, Mao Geping Company signed an agreement with China’s artistic swimming team, becoming one of the official sponsors for China’s artistic swimming team, designing competition makeup and developing specialized waterproof products, contributing to the team's historic achievements at the World Aquatics Championships and the Asian Games Hangzhou. In September 2023, MAOGEPING Beauty signed an agreement with Team China, the pinnacle of Chinese athleticism, becoming the "Official Makeup Service Provider of Team China". In July 2024, MAOGEPING Beauty accompanied Team China to the Paris Olympics Games. During the Games, Mr. Mao Geping and his team participated in the "China House" project at the Paris Olympics Games. The brand stood a dedicated exhibition area and a makeup and styling station within "China House", and also set up a dedicated makeup station at Team China's residential quarters. This comprehensive approach aimed to provide elite, professional makeup and styling services to all Team China athletes, empowering their optimal performance and success.On December 10, 2024, Mao Geping Cosmetics Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mao Geping" or the "Company" ), the well-known domestic beauty brand, strike the gong and went public in Hong Kong, being successfully listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and winning the title of "the first high-end domestic beauty stock" in the Hong Kong stock market.On March 27, 2025, the company released its first financial report after going public. In 2024, the company achieved high growth in both revenue and net profit. In the first half of 2025, the company achieved operating revenue of 2.588 billion yuan for the current period, representing a year-on-year growth of 31.28%. Net profit was 670 million yuan, up 36.11% year-on-year. Revenue and profit have maintained a high growth rate continuously. In October 2025, the company's first official flagship store in Hong Kong officially opened at Harbour City, Kowloon. This not only marks another crucial step for the MAO Geping brand in its in-depth layout of high-end channels, but also, with Hong Kong as a fulcrum, embarks on the brand's global journey.
